SIMPLE SINGLE VIEWS

Just like with the Hand Drafted Single View drawings all single view drawings depict a part from a top down perspective with all the pertinent dimensions. Normally a thickness will be given so that the part can be machined based on what is drawn and then making it as thick as specified.  Some of these are the same single views that we hand drafted but I did not include the steps because it doesn't make much sense to draw these in AutoCAD the same way you would go about hand drafting them. There are videos to the first few to show you how to use the AutoCAD commands and what a finished drawing should look like on a title block.

When you are ready here are some more complicated single view drawings to try,  ADVANCED SINGLE VIEW and if you are really looking for challenge CHALLENGE DWGs.
